Post is an unincorporated community in Crook County, Oregon, United States. It has
a post office assigned the ZIP code of 97752. Post lies along Oregon Route 380
southeast of Prineville at an elevation of 3,383 feet. Post was named for Walter
H. Post, the first postmaster of the Post post office, established in 1889.

Post is the geographic center of Oregon.
There are only a half dozen or so homes in Post, mostly large cattle ranches.
The owners of the Post General Store and Eatery are very friendly. They've only
had the place for a few years. EXCELLENT milk shakes... we call thenm frappes
back east. They do serve food there although we didn't have more than the
refressing chocolate ice cream drink...

These images were taken with my Nikon D810 and nifty fifty lens.

This is the Post, Oregon Grange which has seen better days.

An interesting red rock formation just west of Post.
