I don't ride it that much anymore, but here's my 1997 Big Dog.
Very throaty sound, very fast.... it actually growls when you let off the throttle.

22,000 miles +/- .... 100% S&S bottom end. Edlebrock Performer Pro top end.
93 CI Evolution motor. Delkron Transmission (Andrews gears). Mikuni Carb.
A mild (but very responsive) Andrews cam. Xzotic Panhead roller rocker covers.
PM brakes, Progressive Suspension shocks, 5 gallon gas tank.
Python II exhaust. (throaty but not obnoxiously loud), Corbin 2-up saddle.
Has only seen full synthetic lubricants in all three holes since day one.
Currently using AMSOIL 20W-50 full synthetic.
Tires (Continentals...pretty much puncture-proof).

This bike was built back when Big Dog would still build a bike to customer specs
provided that it didn't deviate substantially from their "standard" processes. All
of my upgrade specs had to do with increasing power and reliability.. no ridiculously
fat real tire, ape hangers, tiny gas tank and so on here!

Here's more pictures of my 1997 Big Dog here and HERE.
