It was a perfect, dry, bluebird day (but VERY cold).... windy in places.
You wouldn't want to be out here if you aren't dressed warmly. Earlier stops
at the falls along the Historic Columbia River Highway were unbearably cold.
Not so bad out here east of the Cascades. Eagle watching on New Years Day
has become an annual event for us... this was our last stop before having a
late lunch at Killer Burger.
It was very hazy out here today. I could probably photoshop these pictures
so the sky looks better, but what you are seeing is what we saw.
It is the dead of Winter, afterall.... that's what I'm trying to show.
