These images were made with my Nikon D7000 camera and my fancy, schmancy
$1,100 (but I got mine for a lot less used) Nikkor 35mm f/1.4 AIS manual
focus lens.
After a pretty tough Winter, Spring seems to be right around the corner.
It was a warm-ish, dry, partly cloudy day so we headed out to do a little
sightseeing. The main plan was to visit Erratic Rock State Park.... not
much of a park... or a rock for that matter. You have to hoof it up and
back, a half mile or so. Not much in the way of parking... just a turn out
pad on the side of the road. But.... no people and got some half-way
decent images.
Stopped at Fort Yamhill, also a State Park. Not much left these
days. Just the Officers Quarters and this Sentry shack.
Lafayette Locks Park. Not much left to see here either.
